If you want a book that makes you wanna grab a fishing rod and just take it easy, this is the one for you. It’s got some elements of progression/cultivation, but this is first and foremost about fishing and friendship. I liked the book. But, I didn’t like the romance aspect of it. Felt somewhat forced. The last 10% or so was a slog to get through. I don’t like feeling like you can’t wait for something to be over. I would have skipped but it was the last chapters of the book and it felt a bit lazy; it wasn’t as if I didn’t want to know what happened… I can’t explain it. I’m not at all sure I’ll continue the series. Do I recommend it? Yeah, I guess I do. It’s not a bad book and I’m sure a lot of people would really like it. I liked it too, just not at the end.
