The frames have a marbled effect ranging from "black dark grey" to "white". This is from changing color in the injection molding without throwing away perfectly good material. Normally you "wash" the machine and discard a lot of material.

My daughter loved the sandals. They look good on her feet. She has a narrow foot so they fit her just fine. I gave four stars because she wears a size 10 shoe now and I ordered an 11 thinking that she would be able to grow into them. As you can see from the pictures, they fit her perfectly. Everyone has one foot that is bigger than the other, so her bigger foot is hanging off the back. I purchased these for her summer sandals now I’ll have to buy her some more because these will not last through the summer.
