The design of the microphone clip includes a hook and loop fastener strap, which allows it to fit instruments of varying sizes and diameters such as the oboe, clarinet, bassoon, recorder and flute. Honestly - I found this to be of equal quality to the well known brand necklace of the same type (birthstone and initial) that I also bought - and this one cost less. It looks lovely.
