Timothee Stroebel Heraclite Pinot Noir 2019Timothe Stroebel is located in Villers Allerand on the northern slope of the Montagne de Reims facing that great city. The Heraclite Pinot Noir is from 60 year old vines on an east facing parcel atop chalk, and this only utilizes primary cuve from the press. The initial fermentation and ageing occur in older barrels and no sulfur was used. The nose of this open with persistent notes of citrus, stone fruits, Werther's original and a light chalk note.
