German Artillery Shell Ashtray 1934This is a ground dug shell that has been shortened into an ashtray. It is dated 1934 with a navy waffen amt. Very fun camp item as soldiers regularly used discarded shells to make everyday items. It is in good condition for being a dig up, the steel primer has mostly rotted away but you can still see the brass percussion cap, which has never been struck! It measures about 4 3 8" in diameter.
