Bought this to replace a very expensive coffee maker that broke after a year and a half. Works excellent! Freed up so much counter space. Saw complaints about the hot plate peeling so I always make sure the bottom of the coffee pot is dry and have had no issues. No leakage as long as the basket is in correctly.
