Georgian Paste Cross in GoldA Georgian multi coloured paste cross in gold. Circa 1800 and set in gold which tests around 8ct. 3. 7cm across excluding bail loop. The pastes are reddish brown and amber coloured with a central white paste. The foil has discoloured and mottled over time. Nice clean condition. The stones are chip and scratch free. Ehhh it’s easy to use and gets it open, my only issue is that it doesn’t open a can like a regular can opener where it is cut on top of the can and you can push it in the can to drain if needed. Rather it cuts the outside of the can as it spins around, so it doesn’t fit inside the can. Not very handy when you’re opening a can of tuna and want to drain the tuna juice, so I had to keep my manual one, that I was trying to get rid of by buying this electric one 🙃
