Great toy and quality. My dog that was a bit of a ruffian with his toys loved this toy. It lasted through his wild days so I bought my current baby one. Unfortunately she hates it. She wants the ball trapped inside but hates the sound of the outer and won't go near it or even let it touch her. Granted she is a bit...eccentric. All larger dogs I have ever seen with one love it. It is very durable. Really serious chewers may need supervision but average big chewers should be fine.

I have 2 cattle dogs. One blue heeler and one blue heeler/aussie mix that is blind and completely ball crazy. We have gone through a hundred balls over the years and this is by far the best. It can be kicked (with think boots not running shoes), thrown, or rolled by the dog if you have one of those types. One of my dogs is a chewer and he hasn't put a dent in it, in months. The ball bounces when kicked/thrown and makes that odd noise when its hit just right so its extra entertaining for the dogs but also let's our blind dog know where its at.
