M 1 helmet set showcases an original, and rather subtle brown field repaint, often attributed to the Mediterranean Theater of Operations. The front seam fixed loop helmet shell was manufactured by McCord Radiator & Manufacturing Co. of Detroit, Michigan. The lot number is concealed beneath the interior's field repaint; however, judging by the later style fixed loops, it likely dates from mid 1942 to late 1943. In

Attractive design and space to store the dish brush and or sponge. My only criticism is that the pump spout is quite narrow so the liquid soap skims over and not that much is released with each pump.
