We live in San Diego and don't really need warm, waterproof boots most of the time. So when winter started and my daughter had just started walking, I decided to get these as an additional shoe to her stride rite sneakers. They fit really well on my daughter's wide, chubby foot, which is my number one priority.... No other boot we've tried has made it past her toes. I like that these aren't too warm inside, and just have enough fur to keep her legs warm. They fit great over jeans, tights, and thicker socks.
