Type K is the most common general purpose thermocouple with a sensitivity of approximately 41 V C. A wide variety of probes are available in its 50C to +900C 58F to +1652F range. Unfortunately, I am now experiencing the displeasure of ordering and receiving the incorrect item 2x. I ordered the HU816Z and ended up getting the HU816X Which is NOT what I'm looking for as it DOES NOT come with a drain plug, which you need to replace each oil change as it's a plastic disposable piece. you are running a terrible risk of reusing a plastic piece. If they can guarantee you are getting what you actually ordered that would be great, but you can't. Really disappointed to see this is now a common thing for something that should be easy as pie to complete. Amazon needs to take a closer look into this! When I originally ordered this this was my first review: "Don't waste time with anything else, this is super easy, replace all the seals, filter and plug in one go. No brainer if you have an F30 328i."

They send the X kit not the Z

took away 1 star due to getting the X kit and not the Z. The filter is the same and works fine, the difference is the X kit includes a metal washer for the oil drain plug and the Z kit includes a new plastic drain plug so depends on your model. I have a 2015 4 series and the filter is great and works great, been using them for 5 years but I also buy packs of the oil drain plugs since they never come included
