The Other CollectionDer Erfolg der Galerie Beyeler, aus der heraus Hildy und Ernst Beyeler die Fondation Beyeler gegrndet haben, nahm seinen Anfang vor nunmehr 60 Jahren. An die 16 000 Gemlde, Skulpturen und Arbeiten auf Papier Druckgrafiken und Editionen ausgenommen wurden an der Bumleingasse 9 gehandelt, der bis heute unvernderten Stammadresse in Basel, wo die Beyelers 1945 die Nachfolge eines Antiquariats angetreten haben, das 1947 schlielich zur Galerie wurde.
