I think this is the perfect weight. I am a “hot” sleeper and I slept comfortably all night. I was really surprised at the quality of this product at the price I paid. I did not wash it before use because I put a duvet cover on it but the quilted, baffled construction should stand up well to washing as shifting of the fill should be limited. Overall an excellent choice.

I bought this for a bed in my air BB space. Renters appreciate white linens to ensure clean and crisp feelings. It's he perfect weight and the fabric and seams are all high quality. I don't currently use a duvet covor on it but the tabs seem sturdy if I wanted to. I ordered a queen and it's size is perfect for winter or summer and still fits in my 4.7 cubic foot washing machine making it easy to use and clean between guests. It didn't have a strong smell out of the package and didn't smell at all after a single wash. I will definitely be ordering more for my other beds.
